Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, California, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality patient care. Requirements include a current and valid State RN license, BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient care and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results and treatment responses.
