Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license valid in the state of employment with at least 1 year of experience.
• BSN preferred; transition/post-grad options may apply per unit policy.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS as dictated by unit needs.
• Specialty certification preferred for specific clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Develops and updates the plan of care to optimize outcomes and transitions.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; ensures safety and quality.
• Advocates for ethical, holistic patient care and patient autonomy.
• Fosters learning for patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Leads in practice setting; coordinates care with interdisciplinary team.
• Participates in planning and presenting educational programs.
