Stony Brook Medicine seeks a Registered Nurse 1 (T&RC) to diagnose, treat and educate patients within a busy 16 North Medicine/Telemetry unit. You will assess, plan, administer medications, practice infection control and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.

The role requires NY RN licensure, and a BSN is preferred; prior acute hospital experience is valued. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits, salary range $113,257–$133,695, and shift-based pay

Formación

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• BSN preferred; acute hospital experience valued.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition and coordinate care with health disciplines.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and discharge planning.
• Administer direct nursing care and medications as needed.
• Practice infection control and maintain a safe environment.
• Document and communicate patient status and teaching outcomes.
