Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; must pass exam within 6 months if registration eligible.
• Master’s degree required for new grads after Jan 1, 2024.
• State licensure or certification within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred.
• Nutrition support experience (TPN, tube feeding) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess and manage complex nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Mentor dietetic interns, new grads, and clinical staff.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices with interdisciplinary teams.
• Discharge planning and DME ordering as part of care continuum.
