Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in acute care and specialized populations, with mentorship and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist.

This full-time role offers onboarding, exposure to nutrition support (TPN, tube feeding), a defined growth track, and competitive pay with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance if eligible.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible. If hired in registration eligible status, must pass the RD credentialing exam within 6 months.
• Master’s degree in Dietetics or related field by an accredited university (for registration eligible after Jan 1, 2024). Education is verified.
• Completion of an ACEND accredited DPD/DI/Coordinated Program or graduate‑level competency‑based program.
• State licensure or certification as required by the practice state within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Utilize nutrition tools and technology to develop personalized care plans.
• Mentor dietetic interns and new graduate staff.
• Implement evidence‑based nutrition practices in collaboration with care teams.
