Job summary

MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a PRN Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide weekend and holiday coverage once training is completed. The role involves initial assessment, planning and delivering therapy per standards, with documentation and reporting responsibilities.

You will support patient care in an acute hospital setting and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy.
• DC Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provides initial assessment, re-assessment, treatment planning and implementation.
• Documentation of all referred patients within departmental standards.
• Participates in staff development and educational activities.
• Collaborates with team for interdisciplinary patient care.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for billing and patient records.

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy.

DC Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility to obtain.

BLS (Basic Life Support).
