Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• DC PT licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintains continuing education for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care duties related to acute care physical therapy, following standards of practice.
• Implements treatment plans and documents progress and billing details.
• Determines equipment needs and assists patients with devices and wheelchairs.
• Instructs and trains patients and families; maintains therapy areas.

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy

DC Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Continuing education for licensure
