Job summary

The role requires licensure as a DC Physical Therapist (or eligibility) and BLS, with 1–2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Maintains necessary continuing education for licensure.
• 1-2 years Clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
• DC Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Provides effective and efficient care.
• Performs initial assessment, re-evaluation, and treatment planning.
• Implements plans aligned with rehab goals and documents progress.
• Determines equipment needs and assists patient with devices and wheelchairs.
• Instructs and trains patients and families; maintains daily area and equipment maintenance.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation including discharge plans and prescriptions.
