Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a PRN position on our Acute Care team in Alexandria, VA. The role requires 2 weekend days per month and coverage for 1 major and 1 minor holiday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Virginia Physical Therapist license or compact privileges required upon start.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Documents the results of evaluations with essential elements per policy.
• Completes daily progress notes reflecting patient responses and status toward goals.
• Prepares discharge notes with treatment summary, discharge needs and follow-up recommendations.
• Documents clearly and legibly within established timeframes to support reimbursement.
