Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist in North Carolina to provide patient care assessments and treatments in an acute rehabilitation setting. The role requires NC licensure, a BS in Physical Therapy, and CPR certification every two years.

You will work 40 hours per week, with late coverage until 7pm and one weekend per month. Primary duties include evaluations, treatment planning, maintaining documentation, and participating in process improvements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Ensures evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and functional.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation. Completes written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards. Understands the budgeted expectations. Maintains productivity standards.
• Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services.
• Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students to develop their clinical skills.
• Communicates in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and all external customers.
• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
