Qualifications

• BLS required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• PT licensure or eligibility within 6 months.
• 1 year PT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for acute-care patients.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and education.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge recommendations in hospital records.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other care team members.
• Participate in discharge planning and collaboration with care teams.
• Mentor therapy assistants and students as applicable.
