Evaluates, develops an appropriate plan of care, and treats patients with bodily impairments and functional limitations as medically prescribed.

• Assesses patient ability to perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and skin systems
• Designs and implements treatment plans using practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs; monitors response and modifies as necessary
• Documents and charges accurately and timely, following standards and policies
• Provides discharge planning and guidance on adaptive equipment and follow-up services
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals across settings
