Northwest Health in the United States is seeking a Physical Therapist for Acute Care on a PRN basis with day shift and flexible scheduling. The role evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures for both children and adults as prescribed by referring physicians.

You will establish individualized goals, provide treatments, reassess progress, and document findings accurately, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required.

Responsabilités

• Conducts thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develops individualized treatment plans across diverse patient populations.
• Administrators safe and effective therapy treatments, ensuring all interventions are appropriately documented.
• Reassesses and adjusts treatment plans within appropriate timeframes to align with patient progress and changing needs.
• Provides clear, concise, and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
• Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and post-treatment care to support long-term recovery.
• Operates therapy equipment safely and maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborates with referring physicians, peers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
• Demonstrates population-appropriate competencies for all relevant patient demographics, tailoring care to individual needs.
• Maintains compliance with facility policies, including safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
• Adapts to changes professionally and effectively, following the chain of command to address and resolve issues impacting patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
