Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in Acute-Care to evaluate and treat patients, develop plans, and provide education to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include documentation, clinical education, and professional development as part of a leading medical center. A full-time daytime schedule is available with some weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred
• Experience in hospital acute care setting
• Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the program
• ICU experience preferred
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and treat patients referred to Physical Therapy.
• Document care and educate patients, families, staff and students.
• Contribute to profession, facility and personal development through quality care, research and education.
• Support patient potential and collaborate with medical management to guide ongoing professional growth at the Medical Center.
