The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist specialized in Acute-Care to join our dedicated team in Baltimore. You will evaluate, plan and treat patients referred to Physical Therapy, and document care while educating patients, families, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities include contributing to clinical research and education, advancing professional growth, and helping patients achieve maximum potential through quality care within our Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred.
• Experience in Hospital acute care setting.
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy.
• Provide documentation and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.
• Participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and self by providing quality care, clinical research and education.
• Ensure patients reach maximum potential through quality care and input to medical management.
