Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens.
• Explain collection procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Label, log, and document test tubes and procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas and supply chains; order supplies as needed.
• Use LIS to document specimens and create manifests.
• Assist in clerical laboratory tasks as directed.
