Job summary

Providence Covenant Children's Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II to support dispensing of unit-dose and stock medications to nursing units. You will fill oral and IV meds, triage orders, and ensure the ADS operates reliably in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Texas technician license or trainee status, and 1+ year of hospital/health system pharmacy experience with PTCB certification (or 2+ years without).

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• Texas Technician Trainee on hire or Texas Registered license.
• 1+ year pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification; or 2+ years hospital pharmacy if not PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Fill/dispense unit-dose and stock medications to nursing units promptly and accurately.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triage orders, and maintain ADS integrity.
