Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a bachelor’s in related field.
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in food service management, preferably in acute care.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet office systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and oversees implementation of patient food services per medical direction.
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
• Comply with dietary restrictions to meet diet orders within guidelines.
• Ensure patient services staff help achieve patient satisfaction goals.
• Follow regulatory standards and HIPAA, plus confidentiality and patient rights policies.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
