Qualifications

• Associates degree from an OTA program.
• 1 year of OTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Acute Care required.
• Completion of clinical internships as required.
• Current State licensure as an OTA.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Works under supervision of Team Coordinator/Clinical Specialist and Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager.
• Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess patients' occupational limitations.
• Prescribes and implements a treatment program to return patients to maximum function.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize outcomes.
• Promotes improvements in service, department and hospital systems.
• Incorporates organizational goals and objectives.
