AnMed Health in Anderson, SC seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for the Acute Care team. The OTA will provide therapy services to a diverse patient population, under supervision, supporting goals across orthopedics, neuro, cardiopulmonary, and gen/med surgical cases in a hospital setting.

We value growth, mentorship, and a collaborative environment. This role includes weekend rotation and a typical 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule with some weekend responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current NBCOT Certification.
• Current licensure with the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.
• CPR/BLS certification due within 90 days of hire and maintained; RQI requirements may apply every 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Assess patient needs and support age-, culture-, and education-appropriate plans of care and treatment.
• Deliver effective treatments that support established therapeutic goals with sound clinical judgment.
• Follow infection control, medical, and safety precautions during patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, therapists, medical staff, discharge services, and other departments.
• Document patient care accurately, promptly, and in accordance with policies, procedures, and CMS standards.
• Organize and prioritize the daily schedule based on workload and participate in required team meetings.
• Support quality assurance, performance improvement, CQI projects, service recovery, recruitment, and administrative duties as assigned.
• Maintain professional, courteous working relationships and protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Provide sensitive, individualized care and adjust treatment to meet patient and family needs.
