Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and direct prescribed therapies to restore patients' maximum functional levels. The role requires Alabama licensure eligibility and CPR certification, with a work schedule of three 10-hour shifts Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT is required.
• Current license or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer prescribed occupational therapy treatments to assist patients to improve or restore function.
• Deliver therapy across settings with physician referral and bedside care when applicable.
• Work three 10-hour shifts Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday.
