Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital setting. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, document care, and maintain productivity while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, implementing plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and timely documentation. Occasional coverage at other hospital locations is required.

Qualifications

• Current and active California Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Ability to work effectively as a collaborative team member and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients requiring occupational therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support recovery and function.
• Document patient care in compliance with regs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Participate in department and hospital initiatives.
• Floating to other locations to provide coverage.
