Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Everett, Washington. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and help patients regain daily living skills in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of OT experience with 1 year preferred, BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification, and valid state licensure. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; 1 year preferred for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs to develop a plan of care.
• Develop treatment plans with clear goals and activities.
• Assist patients to perform tasks and regain independence.
• Assess home/work environment for safety improvements.
• Educate patient and family on care plans and equipment.
• Document progress per state and payer guidelines.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for billing and reporting.
