Job summary

Select Medical's SSH-Tri-Cities unit is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support inpatient post-ICU recovery on a PRN/part-time basis. The role offers a $50 per hour compensation with comprehensive orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the setting.

Minimum qualifications include current state licensure as an OT and BLS certification or completion within 90 days. The team emphasizes discharge planning, supervision of OTAs, and ongoing professional development.

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
