Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient functional abilities and establishes a plan of care with measurable goals.
• Implements a skilled, individualized treatment plan respecting patient’s physical, cultural and age-related needs.
• Documents progress and outcomes per department and regulatory standards.
• Communicates results and treatment plans with physicians, nurses, patients and family/caregivers.
• Demonstrates adaptability in caseload and scheduling, and supports other patient care areas as needed.
• Provides direction and delegation to COTA, therapy technicians and students with compliance to policies.
