Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team as a full-time Day Shift employee. The role features a standard Monday–Friday schedule with every other Sunday and one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Virginia OT license required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to department policies for evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, and outside contacts while completing administrative tasks.
• Demonstrates skills in treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols while performing re-evaluations and adjusting the plan as needed.
• Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to patients' diagnosis, age group, and status.
