Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead and manage hospital functions on a shift basis. You will guide nursing staff, coordinate with physicians and departments, and ensure continuous patient care while reporting to on-call administration as needed.

Required are a SC-licensed RN (or compact state), a BSN, and at least 2 years in acute hospital care. BLS and ACLS are mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in SC or a compact state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' hospital Acute Care experience; leadership/ supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage hospital functions on a designated shift with leadership.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians and department personnel to meet patient needs.
• Ensure continuity of professional nursing care and inform administrator on call as needed.
