Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL requests an experienced registered nurse to join our dedicated team. You will maintain clinical competence, provide safe patient care across age groups, and serve as a resource for staff and students.

The role emphasizes education, orientation, and performance improvement in a collaborative hospital environment. The position requires Florida licensure with BLS and prefers ACLS/CNOR credentials, plus a BSN (MSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Current Licensure in the State of Florida and BLS.
• ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical competence and provides safe care in the unit for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Functions as a role model using the nursing process to deliver direct, indirect and consultative patient care.
• Collaborates with management to develop, revise and evaluate standards of care and orientation programs.
• Serves as a clinical resource to staff, preceptors and students; participates in performance improvement and research activities.
• Leads education programs, maintains records of skills and orientation dates, and supports onboarding of new staff.
