Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks a Nurse Educator within Human Resources to lead clinical training and development initiatives. The role requires a nursing degree and strong clinical background to support preceptors, orientees, and education programs across departments.

The incumbent collaborates with management to create effective orientation and competency development, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care across Mount Sinai’s facilities in South Florida.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Florida is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required; Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 2–5 years of RN experience is required; 1+ year in regulatory surveys preferred.
• BLS Instructor certification and Workplace Violence Training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced nursing knowledge for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Serves as a clinical resource to preceptors, orientees, staff, educators, and students.
• Collaborates with management to develop orientation for new employees relevant to their needs.
• Acts as a consultant to management and staff in nursing and non-nursing departments.
• Designs and evaluates formal education programs for specific clinical areas.
