Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL seeks an experienced nurse educator to develop and deliver orientation, continuing education, and staff assessment across clinical units. You will collaborate with nursing leaders to identify learning needs, create curricula, and mentor bedside staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory credentials.

Three years of nursing experience required with BSN and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist license or equivalent is preferred.
• Regulatory credentials (CR's) must be maintained as required.
• Experience in nursing education and staff development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nursing leaders to assess learning needs and staff competencies.
• Performs clinical patient care when necessary.

Summary

Develops and provides services related to the orientation, continuing education and assessment of clinical staff.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with nursing leaders and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of the staff.Performs clinical patient care when necessary.Participates in the development, coordination and delivery of staff orientation, competency evaluation and education activities.Serves as a consultant/mentor. Change agent for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.Designs, facilitates and assesses learning activities and curriculum related to clinical competencies, department/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.
