Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Interventional Radiology team. The role is primarily clinic-based and includes outpatient evaluations, pre/post-procedure management, and inpatient rounding in collaboration with IR physicians.

The ACNP will prescribe within scope, participate in procedures, and support multidisciplinary teams across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited NP program.
• Experience: 1+ years in Interventional Radiology or related procedural field.
• Licensure: Texas NP license and APRN certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient evaluations for Interventional Radiology patients.
• Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care with IR team.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and informed consent.
• Manage inpatient consults and rounding as needed.
• Prescribe medications within scope and privileges.
• Document accurately per standards.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
