Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join the Interventional Radiology team at Temple. This clinic-based role includes outpatient evaluation, pre/post-procedure care, and inpatient rounding in collaboration with IR physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The ACNP will provide prescriptive care, coordinate follow-up, and help ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes within a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required or strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in procedural or IR-related settings.
• Experience in evaluating and managing inpatient and outpatient patients.
• Licensed/board certified ACNP with Texas RN/APRN licensure and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations in the Interventional Radiology clinic.
• Evaluate referrals for image-guided interventions with IR physicians.
• Manage pre-procedure consultations, education, and follow-up care.
• Round on hospitalized IR patients and manage inpatient consults.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; coordinate with care teams.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice.
