Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Interventional Radiology team. This clinic-based role includes outpatient evaluation, inpatient rounds, and collaboration with IR physicians to coordinate care.

The APP will manage pre- and post-procedure processes, consults, and education, with responsibilities extending to inpatient care and procedural support, in alignment with Texas licensure and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: 1+ years in related setting.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or procedural specialties preferred.
• ACNP certification strongly preferred for NP applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in Interventional Radiology clinic.
• Evaluate referrals for image-guided interventions and coordinate with IR physicians.
• Manage pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-up.
• Round on inpatients and manage consults; oversee education and consent discussions.
• Prescribe medications and interventions within scope; document per standards.
• Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
