Job summary

Advocate Health Care seeks Advanced Practice Clinicians to diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic illnesses across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform histories, exams, prescribe therapies and coordinate complex care during the patient journey.

The role requires PA licensure with NCCPA certification and acute care experience, with opportunities across Illinois and Wisconsin in a values-driven, physician-led system.

Qualifications

• Evaluates, diagnoses and treats acute, critical and chronic illness in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Obtains histories, conducts exams and determines differential diagnoses.
• Prescribes medications and therapies per physician guidance.
• Interprets patient data to guide management and treatment.
• Performs minor surgeries and routine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes, recommends and regulates therapies across care settings.
• Prepares and signs patient care plans and summaries.
• Maintains records according to standards.
• Provides clinical direction to nursing staff and coordinates care.
