Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited nursing school and NP program.
• Two years of RN, advanced practice, or NP clinical experience.
• Texas RN licensure valid; APRN Acute Care state license; prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment and consultation as part of a treatment team.
• May work in inpatient and outpatient settings under the Nurse Practice Act.
• Order tests, conduct physicals, prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Communicate with patients, physicians and interprofessional team to plan care.
