Kettering Health Network in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator/Nursing Assistant (HUC NA) for a part-time day shift. The role blends HUC and NA duties within the interdisciplinary patient care team.

You will support patients with activities of daily living, perform delegated nursing assistant tasks, and coordinate unit activities, including patient records and communication with nurses, physicians, and staff. Reports to Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• KH Health Coordinator training completed upon hire
• KH Nursing Assistant Orientation completed upon hire
• CPR/BLS certification held
• Must have one of: six months NA experience in hospital/long-term care; or Nursing Assistant course completed in last 6 months; or nursing student/pre-nursing status; or KH employee currently employed

Responsabilités

• The HUC NA serves as a dual Health Unit Coordinator and Nursing Assistant within the interdisciplinary patient care team.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs delegated nursing tasks.
• Coordinates day-to-day unit activities, processes patient records, and maintains communication with nursing staff, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel.
• Acts as a resource for physicians and team members for the electronic medical record.
• Maintains knowledge and skills for delegated tasks and supports department operational needs.
