Job summary

The Indian Health Service, Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive, high-acuity care across the life span, using expert clinical judgement in rapidly changing situations. The nurse reports to the Supervisory Nurse and will participate in emergency care, triage, medication administration, and coordination with the care team, with a focus on patient education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: submit transcripts or course list with titles, hours, and grades; unofficial transcripts accepted in application.
• Verify accreditation of schools; foreign education requires a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment and triage for patients with acute illness, injury, trauma, or life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications and other treatments per patient assessment.
• Perform emergency and resuscitative procedures; coordinate care with the team for continuity.
