Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking skilled registered nurses to deliver emergency, obstetrical, perioperative, and medical-surgical care in a federal health system dedicated to American Indian and Alaska Native people.

These roles require U.S. citizenship, valid RN licensure, and current certifications (BLS/ACLS/NRP). You will rotate through ER, OB, OR, and Med-Surg units, participate in performance improvement, and engage in patient-centered care with a focus on evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with active license in the United States.
• Graduate degree in nursing or higher preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP as required by hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across ER/OB/OR/Med-Surg.
• Perform triage and prioritization using established systems (ESI/triage).
• Provide pre- and post-operative education and care; maintain safety and documentation.
