CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE, seeks an experienced ER Nurse to be the first touchpoint during health emergencies. You will triage, stabilize, and coordinate care within a high-acuity team, delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive treatment while documenting care plans and changes in patient condition.

You will work in a designated Level II trauma center with 24/7 coverage, supporting trauma, surgical and critical care services and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to

Formación

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license to practice in Nebraska.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS within 5 months of hire.
• PALS within 5 months of hire.
• NRP within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire.
• ENPC within 18 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Triage, discharge or admit patients using emergency protocols.
• Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients as part of the ER team.
• Document nursing care plans and changes in patient condition.
• Engage in activities that benefit patient outcomes, such as mentoring and patient experience initiatives.
