Intermountain Health is hiring a Registered Dietitian Specialist for an acute care hospital in Billings, MT. This full-time role supports hands-on nutrition care, mentorship, and a clear path from Clinical Dietitian to Specialist, aligning experience with advanced practice.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available. Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy, apply the Nutrition Care Process, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• For registration eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a master’s degree by an accredited university.
• Completion of an ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate‑level competency‑based dietitian nutritionist program.
• State licensure or certification in accordance with the primary state of practice requirement for Registered Dietitians. If the primary state of practice requires licensure or certification, this must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in clinical dietetics, preferred.

Aufgaben

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as an RD/RDN in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and improve patient outcomes.
• Utilize clinical nutrition tools and technology to develop personalized care plans.
• Support and mentor dietetic interns, new graduate dietitians, and clinical nutrition staff.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Manage nutrition care across the continuum, including discharge planning and DME ordering.
• Independently write and manage nutrition-related orders within scope of practice as an RD/RDN.
