Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem is seeking a part-time Clinical Pharmacist for the Acute Care department. This PRN position oversees pharmaceutical care, counsels patients, and participates in medication safety and quality initiatives.

Your responsibilities include reviewing orders, designing therapy regimens, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with the healthcare team to manage formulary adherence while complying with all regulations.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or equivalent.
• Current North Carolina pharmacist license in good standing.
• Immunization and non‑vaccine injectable certification may be required.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee pharmaceutical care and evaluate medication therapy regimens.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on medication therapy, effects, adherence, and administration.
• Review medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Manage formulary adherence and assist with non-formulary or investigational meds.
• Lead pharmacy education for students and residents.
• Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies and state/federal regulations.
