Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Aufgaben

• Assist the RN with patient care and communicate findings.
• Support activities of daily living and maintain patient dignity.
• Greet patients and respond to requests promptly.
• Collect, record, and relay patient data to the nurse.
• Prepare rooms for admission/transfer/discharge.
• Transport patients safely as needed.
• Provide comfort measures and promote mobility.
• Assist with procedures and set up equipment as directed.
• Clean and dispose of used supplies per procedures.
• Collect specimens and prepare for lab testing.
• Care for biomedical equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist with wounds dressing and EKGs.
• Monitor patients with equipment as directed.
• Handle patient belongings and records.
• Assist with admission/transfer/discharge tasks.
• Respond to call lights and perform hourly rounds.
