Bronson Battle Creek is seeking an Acute Care Assistant to support patients and the healthcare team in a dynamic hospital setting. The role blends direct patient care with administrative duties, contributing to efficient unit operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a patient-centered approach. This full-time position offers night shifts, orientation, and opportunities to grow within Bronson Healthcare.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, mobility, and comfort needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other assigned patient information.
• Monitor patient status and communicate observations to the nursing team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transportation.
• Support patients and families with compassionate care and customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
• Process patient charts, documentation, admissions, transfers, and discharge information.
• Enter orders and support electronic medical record workflows as assigned.
• Coordinate communication between departments, providers, and care team members.
• Order, stock, and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Support unit operations and assist with department workflow needs.
