• Collaborates with attending physician to discuss findings impacting care.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Makes daily rounds to assess medical, social and educational needs.
• Refers to ancillary departments and community resources as needed.
• Documents progress notes, treatment plans and orders.
• Establishes medical diagnoses per standard practice and notes consultations.
• Reports abnormal findings and monitors patient response to treatments.
• Acts as a clinical resource and supports performance improvement initiatives.
