Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Physician Assistant Program OR Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant or as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by MD Board.
• CPR and ACLS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily rounds on assigned patients and evaluates progress.
• Performs admissions history and physicals and documents findings.
• Writes orders within delegated authority and discusses care with the team.
• Refers to appropriate services and coordinates discharge planning.
