Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate for the Adult Acute Psych unit. This full-time role supports a multidisciplinary team, monitoring patient behavior, providing care, and documenting observations under RN supervision.

The position requires ability to read/write English, basic math, and collaboration with the team. Scheduling includes night shifts with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and certification in crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Direct patient experience in a behavioral health and/or medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report patient behaviors under supervision of an RN.
• Provide continuous patient care and document observations.
• Respond to crisis situations and medical emergencies as needed in a behavioral health setting.
• Support the patient care team with non-clinical duties (environmental, dietary, transportation, supplies, light maintenance, administrative tasks).
