Peak View Behavioral Health is seeking a Medical Behavioral Health Associate I to work under a licensed nurse in a multidisciplinary team. You will monitor patient behaviors, provide hands-on care, and participate in crisis response as needed.

This role includes documenting data, supervising daily activities, and supporting treatment goals. The position offers full-time hours (12-hour shifts), day and night options, and benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months or more experience working with the behavioral health population is preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities is preferred.

Mansioni

• Ensures wellbeing of patients and provides a safe, structured environment under supervision.
• Assists with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, hydration).
• Performs safety checks and monitors adherence to supervision guidelines.
• Interacts with patients, observes behaviors, and reports significant observations to supervisor.
• Leads or participates in educational and rehabilitative groups (social and coping skills).
• Takes and records vital signs and communicates changes to the clinical team.
• Accurately charts in patient records and documents incidents as needed.
• Applies de-es escalation techniques and assists with restraints when necessary.
• Assists with admission/discharge processes, unit cleaning, and organization of charts.
• Transfers or coordinates transportation for patients as required.
• Provides thorough shift handoffs and reports from previous to oncoming shifts.
