Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Irvine, CA to design, implement, and review manufacturing processes for Parker products. You will identify equipment needs, lead process improvements, and support assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety.

With 2–5 years of experience in engineering and proficiency in CAD/CAM tools, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and innovative solutions across the MFCD division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Proficient in applying engineering concepts to processes.
• Ability to use systematic problem solving for moderate to complex scopes.
• Continuously improve quality and manufacturing functions.
• Knowledge of GD&T, data structures, and CAD/CAM systems.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Determine equipment and tooling needs to meet specs.
• Lead process improvement projects for efficiency, yield, safety, and cost.
• Possibly lead small teams to implement improvements.
• Provide engineering guidance to optimize design and manufacturing.
• Ensure processes comply with regulations and apply standards.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
