Job summary

Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company is seeking an experienced actuary to manage model change processes for AXIS models supporting valuation, ALM, pricing and planning. You will lead change gatherings, translate requirements, and develop modifications across FIA, RILA, PRT, Payout Annuity, Traditional Life and UL.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, strong analytical and project management skills, documentation, and training capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant actuarial experience.
• Experience with AXIS (preferred) or similar actuarial modeling software.
• ASA designation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate model change requirement-gathering meetings and update related documentation.
• Collaborate with teams to understand model change requirements and identify stakeholders.
• Develop model changes using efficient programming techniques and best practices.
• Update model documentation (MSD, ASD, simplifications) to reflect changes.
• Create detailed technical documentation for model changes.
• Review and validate results against requirements and provide ongoing support.
• Oversee and review model development, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as F&G SME on Corporate AXIS models and train actuarial users.
• Develop and enhance scalable, repeatable processes.
