Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• ASA or equivalent designation.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop actuarial assumptions for pricing and reserving.
• Coordinate actuarial analyses to support pricing strategies.
• Maintain profit studies and reserve programs.
• Prepare actuarial portions of financial reports and filings.
• Communicate research results to management.
• Develop computer-based programs and model validation.
• Maintain documentation of actuarial research.
• Provide consultation on actuarial models and risk issues.
• Coordinate and direct special actuarial projects.
• May supervise actuarial staff.
